I’ve been hearing a lot of buzz about this author so I finally decided to try her out! I wasn’t disappointed. I loved the unique premise of this story and the writing style.
The book is written in an interview format, which I thought would be boring, but definitely was not! Members of a band recall their rise to fame in the 1970s, as well as their struggles with drugs, relationships, and finding their place in life and in the band. The group, Daisy Jones & The Six, is inspired by and loosely based on Fleetwood Mac.
I’ve never read anything else like this, and I think that’s one of the reasons I loved it so much!I was captivated by Daisy and the push and pull connection she had with Billy throughout the story, despite what may or may not have happened between them Each character was unique and relatable. I thought this story was incredible
