lesbian friends to lovers that takes place in the 80s in new york????? oh you know i loved every second of it!!!! it really reminded me of ‘her name in the sky’ which i LOVED!!
man, gay people LOVE to describe their significant others as a missing part of them that was torn from them at birth or something. no one understands soulmatism & being tied together like gay people apparently—
“Have you ever felt really close to someone? So close that you can't understand why you and the other person have two separate bodies, two separate skins?”

“i think of a passage from the Symposium, this allegory about people who started off as two halves of a whole, but then something cut them apart, and they spend their whole lives looking for their other half so they can fit themselves back together. And that's how it feels, it hurts, it's like I lost you before I was born.” - these violent delights, micah nemerever.
