I read the book blurb and liked the idea of the story, but I struggled with the pace of the first half,  its very light on actual events and felt mostly like filler. 
But the second half was a page turner, Action packed, character and plot development.  
It ended with a satisfactory conclusion but feels more like a pause so Im eagerly awaiting the sequel.
