Sidetracked by S.T. Abby
5.0
This novella exceeded all my expectations. I was astounded by how much depth and emotion S. T. Abby packed into just 98 pages. The story is incredibly poignant, and I found myself tearing up several times.
I was thrilled to learn more about Hadley's past, which is both heartbreaking and disturbing. Her experiences fuel a fierce desire for revenge, and it's incredibly satisfying to watch Lana, our angel of death, deliver justice.
Lana herself faces some agonizing choices in this book, with potential consequences that will undoubtedly haunt her. How will she conceal her actions from Logan? How will he react when he inevitably discovers the truth? And what will happen to Jake? The ending is a cliffhanger of epic proportions, leaving me desperate for the next installment.
