Meet Cute by Helena Hunting
3.0
More like 2.5 but rounded up.
This book was entertaining enough, but I couldn't help but feel the relationship with Dax and his sister was just a template of what everyone assumes a typical brother/sister relationship should be. The author added nothing by way of making them stand out or giving them actual personalities. I wish she had added more to this template, jazzed it up, created a good bond. It was a wasted opportunity.
And the relationship between Dax and Kailyn? Meh. Didn't really much of anything reading it.
In short, this book read like a 90's lifetime movie.
