This book rec wasn't right for me and I should have researched the book more on my own.  It's a historical fiction taking place during WW2 and it was a tough read.  Not because it wasn't well written or anything, it was just hard for me to read something that felt so real.  The writing is wonderful, the story is heartbreaking, it's just not my genre
