Memory
by Lois McMaster Bujold
I had heard that these books waned in quality the further into the series you get - so far from true. This must be my favorite one so far, the 9th that I have read. (I’m going in the recommended order from a book riot.com article on the series.) This book was… personally haunting. Miles grapples with a progression into cynicism, and has to deal with the repercussions. This book is about integrity and choices. Oh, and it’s also another darn good story! So good - such a joy to continuously find absolute gems in this series.
