The Tokyo Zodiac Murders by Sōji Shimada
3.0

i would give this book a 3.5. when i read the back of the book, i had a whole vision of what this book would be like. the first few chapters were disappointing since they werent like i expected. reading it became boring, and i put the book aside for a while. it was around page 160 when i put it away, and today i set a goal for myself to finish this book. IM SO GLAD I DID! after accepting that its not what i expected, i was able to enjoy the story.

the mystery is genuinely very good; i found myself second guessing all of my theories. and then the first author's nota arrived, mentioning how i should know who the serial killer is?! GIRL i was clueless?-? after the reveal, everything made so much more sense, and i liked the way the story was put.

anyways long story short, its a good muder mystery book. there is quite some atsrological shit, lots of sarcasm and some humor here and there
