This book grabs you from the very beginning. Liz shows us how she works her game from the first page.
However, it does lag in the middle, and gets a bit confusing as she's posing as Isabelle. But the end is spectacular and even twistier than one could hope or imagine. Just when you think you've got it all figured out, you realize you really didn't. Ritter did a great job with this book.
I know everybody's idea of a beach read is different, but I found this to be the perfect vacation read - hard to put down, but easy to pick up again. It was exciting, sexy (without too much gratuitous description), and suspenseful.
I really enjoyed this book and will be looking for Ritter's previous work as well as any forthcoming books.
I received a copy of this book from NetGalley.
