Sophie's World: A Novel about the History of Philosophy
by Jostein Gaarder
This book is dense, and needs to be read slowly. While the young adult novel aspects were interesting, they dragged it a bit at some points. I think I cared more about the history, which was very enlightening, especially near the end. Something it did though is make me more interested in modern philosophy.
