The House of Eve is an unforgettable, pull-at-your-heartstrings story with two main characters that I simply adored. It had so much! Johnson masterfully addresses an array of topics (pregnancy, adoption, race, class, colorism and more) within the captivating narratives of Ruby and Eleanor, whose stories are ultimately about love, loss, sacrifice and resilience. I missed them the moment I finished the last page.
