The plot and setting was enjoyable but I'd previously read the Psycho Shifters series and found Alexis to be a copy/paste of both the FMC in that series. It made the plot a bit predictable and not as enjoyable. I will say that I appreciate that Jasmine Mas doesn't do egregious age gaps even though her settings could allow for it.
Also, you don't find out she's Hercules until the VERY END. Like it's supposed to be some big reveal. It's obviously not to the reader given the title and book description. That would've been a lot more interesting to be surprised with.
