Don't Burn This Book: Thinking for Yourself in an Age of Unreason by Dave Rubin

4.0

"Maintaining good bonds with your loved ones is the starting point for how you treat the rest of the world."

I enjoy watching Dave's interviews and conversations. This book is somewhat a history of his ever changing thought processes and some tips he's giving on how you too can think for yourself.

Dave and I don't agree on every issue, but I think that's a good thing. We can't all agree all the time. That's not the way humans were made. The only way to improve, either individually or as a society, is through meaningful conversation with those we don't always agree with.

My biggest issue with this book is that Dave tells us what he's going to talk about a bit too much. That's a common thing with this style of book and it always bugs me a bit. It's just a waste of time and space, I think, but doesn't detract from the thought provoking content.
