November 2023: I cannot believe I rated this book 4 stars in 2020. I cannot believe I wrote this review in 2020. If I tell you this book CONSUMED me the past week, it’s an understatement. PEETA. I TOLD MY DAD ABOUT YOU.
February 2020: I have to say, even though the hunger games movies are some of my favorite movies of all time, it felt so refreshing to be able to read Katniss’ thought process and the ideas behind their “fake dating” etc. It was exactly what I hoped it would be, except for Katniss’ overanalyzing mind. That specifically became a bit repetitive at times.
Peeta though...I think I might like book Peeta a liiiiitle bit more than movie Peeta
