The Fog by Kyo Maclear

4.0

When I flipped through this book, I initially read it as an experience of depression-- coming in and out of the fog. Since others have commented on the suggestions of climate change or reaching out to others for help solving problems, I wonder if perhaps the purpose of the story is to map onto whatever you make of it. Whether or not this was the intention of the author, I think this is a beautiful way to read the book! Ask the person you read it with what they think the fog might represent... you might learn something important about what's on their mind!
