Sidetracked
by Henning Mankell
The pacing of this book was excellent, and it was really interesting being in the position of knowing who the murderer was whilst Wallander was clueless. There were a couple of plot threads that weren't investigated in a lot of detail; for example, why did Hoover scalp his victims? I'm not sure if that was ever established. Generally, though, it was a brilliant read and definitely a book that fans of crime fiction should try.
