While I thought the last 75 pages were too long, dragging out the ending, which would normally move my rating to 4 stars, this book is so well-written and so wonderful, I had to give it 5 stars. I love books about books, stories, libraries. This story is so clever and multi-layered. The stories within the story were my favorite: the pirate, fate/time, Owl King, the Innkeeper. Wonderful. Erin Morgenstern is brilliant.
