The First Four Years
by Laura Ingalls Wilder
This book is very different from the other novels.
Perhaps because it was published from a found manuscript of Laura’s after her death and was an incomplete work.
It reads much more like a set of notes than her other vividly detailed and heartfelt stories.
Still a great look though into the struggles she and Almanzo faced in the early years of their marriage.
