a kidnapped child, a mystery, an aus in the us, secrets revealed. the premise of this book is one familiar to anyone who has read or watched thrillers… but Christian White adds just enough of his unique tone that it feels fresh and new.
the characters feel real and believable. you root for almost everyone at different times, which is a real testament to his ability to write a wide variety of characters with different background and motivations but keep them rooted in reality.
incredible that this was his debut!
