Yet another example of why participating in reading challenges is a wonderful thing to do. I would never have picked up this little gem otherwise.
An intriguing whodunit set against the beautiful backdrop of Iceland. If you are a fan of Louise Penny's Inspector Gamache, you will absolutely appreciate Ari Thor Arason. As a Canadian who grew up in an isolated fishing village in the north, the setting and the people felt very familiar, and I was immediately drawn into the story.
I loved this book so much that I have already borrowed the next in the series from Libby.
