A beautiful, sweeping story of one summer in 1961, told from the perspective of the MMC looking back. A great historical fiction snapshot, depicting a small knit community and the rippling effects on it after four deaths take place.
Krueger has an easy read writing style, and keeps excellent pace. Great for fans of Kristin Hannah’s style of historical fiction as well.
