I stand by my original comment that this is Fifty Shades fan fiction (written a la Fifty Shades and Sylvia Day's Crossfire series). And of course there is the fact that Fifty Shades is Twilight fan faction. Oh, the copyright infringements. Hmm. I suppose imitation is the highest form of flattery, and who can resist yet another oversexed, time-on-his-hands, knowledgeable-about-women's-clothing billionaire?
That said, this book was better than the first, though they still have a ridiculous amount of sex and they seem to have had a year-long relationship squeezed into a measly three or four weeks. Almost too much sex. To the point where it got a little dull. And that's not good.
BUT... the story in this book was better than in book #1. And while the sex is good enough, Ms. Kenner, we get it. They f**k a lot. All day. Every day. All night. Every night. Fill in the rest of the story, and you might have something decent.
Better than book 1. Will read book 3. Hoping for continued improvement.
