I wanted to like this book more than I did. Feels authentically Scottish ✔️ ensemble of fairly likeable characters ✔️ large focus on Christmas ✔️ BUT i just didn’t like the male MC and didn’t feel their chemistry. I kept being like who is this outsider and why is he so self- righteous. It was a very easy read that I did devour rather quickly, I just wish I cared more
