Black Seconds by Karin Fossum

5.0

Why have I not heard about Karin Fossum before? What is essentially a police procedural becomes something more in sparing, light prose. Atmospheric and haunting, yet ultimately celebrates the human spirit. Definitely a good thing I had another of hers ready to pick up when I finished this one.
Like the best of Ruth Rendell or Minette Walters
Translated from the Norwegian.
