First things first: hate the artwork. Only Malala is shown as this big head figure while the adults and even other children until the last page are shown as more realistic. Which has the effect of infantilizing her.

I also don’t know how I feel about most of the citations being books Malala or her father wrote. Is that good? Bad? Is that just what’s available? Glad Malala did have input on early drafts. End pages include a timeline and actual photos. I just … I wanted more from this I guess.
