Claimed by her Cougar by Felicity Heaton

2.0

I didn't particularly like the writing style, it didn't flow very well and the structure was awkward to read at places. Other than that, the plot was... there? It takes place over about 4 days with 2 days as a time skip, where they, of course, go from total strangers to in love.

There was a little action sequence in there that I mostly skimmed over because this author's biggest weakness is by far action scenes, but otherwise, that's pretty much the plot. The female lead is supposed to be in roughly her thirties, possibly forties (it's a bit unclear) but behaves and acts like she's twenty at most, very immature. Not that the 150-year-old cougar shifter dude was much better with his ambivalence.

What raised it to 2 stars was the glorious lack of rapey tones that are abundant in these types of books, and the descriptions of the surrounding nature.
