Aurora Rising by Jay Kristoff, Amie Kaufman
3.0
I read this as my Libby app offered it as an available yet popular book. I had just finished reading "The Testaments," by Margaret Atwood, so this was QUITE a departure. And it felt very frivolous and juvenile in comparison.
But it doesn't take a lot to suck me into a story, and this became a fun adventure with all the intrigue and mystery (and goofiness and teenage angst) a YA sci-fi can offer. I had fun reading it. And I suppose the fact that I looked for the sequel as soon as I was finished is the best recommendation I can offer. :)
