it took me literal MONTHS to read this book. i found it intriguing, but also dense and confusing. i found the characters fun, but their arcs were a little rushed to me. i didn’t particularly enjoy the romance, and the worldbuilding was great but hard to keep track of. still, the ending (and the twist!) made up for it (mostly). i’m putting the sequels on hold for now because i’m honestly a little tired of epic fantasy 😅 so! 4/5 stars. pretty good, would rec!
