I liked the idea of this book and that was it.
Both of the MC made me want to pull my hair out but I couldn’t stand the FMC. She was so obnoxious in her obliviousness. She was well aware of the trauma she had been through but chose not to go to therapy? Says she wants a husband someday but can’t open up to literally anyone? I’d like to say the MMC was much better but if you’re still hung up on issues you had in high school like people making fun of you for flowers…. I’m sorry who is going to make fun of you as an adult? Please just both grow up and spend some time with a therapist.
There was a breakfast burrito that turned into a bagel after a couple paragraphs… so not only did I not like the novel but somebody missed a pretty obvious mistake in the editing.
I don’t know why I finished this book as I abhorred the entire thing. Nice in theory but not well executed.
