★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ——— Absolutely adored this book so much. I'm such a sucker for YA novels. Add some romance. Have lovable black characters. Add the razzle dazzle of wit and charm; and you've got a staring contender! Young black love truly rules all! I really enjoyed reading the journey of Dani & Prince's love. It represented what it feels like to be in love as teenagers. There was so much passion from Prince that was admirable. When he offered to help Dani take out her braids.. I adored him from that moment on. He was so caring to her from the very beginning. Very loving and gentle to Dani without knowing of her past trauma. This book was wrapped, packed and delivered with a bow by Ms. Ebony LaDelle! What an amazing debut novel.
