THINGS I LIKED:
🎠 Bree’s character development was really interesting to see - I was always waiting to see how far Bree was willing to go for her child.

🎠 The central investigation - I really really enjoyed this somewhat “police procedural” aspect of the book and see the routes the characters took to get the information they needed
🎠 Marshall. I found Marshall extremely irritating at the beginning of the book I really grew to love him and found myself rooting for him.
THINGS I DIDN'T LIKE:
🎠 Some of the chapters were a little too long for my liking but didn’t take away from my overall enjoyment of the book
🎠 The ending felt like it was drawn out - I found myself skimming through some stuff because I just wanted to see how things would wrap up.
🎠 The pacing felt very uneven and inconsistent. Some parts were quick and page turning while others seemed to drag in places. (less)
