I enjoyed this book the second time around. A few things I didn’t enjoy… it was too long, and as much as I love animals, I felt like the head of a biker MC who rescues puppies that whole storyline didn’t add anything to the story, and made the story longer than it should have been.
Another issue I had with this story was how long the couple was separated, it was just about a year and then she comes home after he does a grand gesture that was just so beautiful and she is at home for another month before she even talks to him? She doesn’t come home to him she just runs into him in the street? Yeah that took away from the epic love story.
I did love how the story progressed. I enjoyed Tor and how he struggled, that felt very believable. This was one of my first forbidden stories like this back in the day, and while I loved it back then I have read better since. I still did enjoy the story overall though!
