The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood

2.0

2.5⭐️ I really liked the the science aspect of the book and the representation of women in stem. For some reason I couldn’t connect characters and plot. This book just fell flat for me. I wish the book was in dual pov. I feel like I would have been a little more connected to Adam that way and it would have been cute to see Adam’s reaction to everything since he was in love with her the whole time from his pov. I also thought the reason Olive was faking dating Adam was weird like I feel like there could have been a better reason. The ending felt a little rushed to me. I wish we saw more of the aftermath after everything with Tom happened and more about making their relationship official and discovering their true feelings. Malcolm and Holden were my favs and the best part of the book. Overall I just didn’t connect to the story and characters like I wanted to and it took me forever to read and it was hard to get through. There was aspects of the books I enjoyed but nothing that stood out about it. Something about this book was just for me…was it terrible no but I couldn’t connect to it and it was just very boring and mediocre to me.

- Recommend?! = Maybe, Wasn't for me
