3.0

A quick listen, about two hours long, of stories on the theme of betrayal. I enjoyed the diversity of the stories, differing in tone, setting and characterization. Some were very serious, such as “Draft Day” where two young men wait to find out their fate, with one knowing already that he’ll be saved. Others, such as Mother’s Son, had a decidedly humorous tone, where a wife fools a husband into hearing the voice of God. The narration on each story was well done.

This would be great for that short car ride with your parents or grandparents. Something for everyone.
