Okay, if you can suspend your disbelief through the first chapter and can survive through the couple of narrative changes to random side characters that is in no way integral to this book, this book is pretty good. All the characters - main characters, side characters are all great. Even the animals are well drawn characters. Great banter, not just between the MCs but also between the MCs and the hockey team and the best friends and it’s all just lovely. I laughed out loud multiple times and was pretty much giggling and grinning through the rest. Really sweet, lots of fun with just the right amounts of angst and pining.
