Loki: Where Mischief Lies by Mackenzi Lee

2.0

Ultimately disappointing. After reading the back cover I was hoping for a thrilling, action packed 19th century detective story featuring Loki. This... Was definitely not that. The first half of the book was a long winded set up, explaining the relationship between father and sons, and introducing a key character. The second half of the book could have been so much more interesting but instead the 'mysterious' murderer gets revealed fairly quickly, taking away any notion of suspense. The plottwists (all of them) aren't really plottwists because you see them coming from miles away.

This could have been good, but I was mostly bored.
