'Sift' follows two women traveling together after a societal collapse. It has dreamy and lyric language which doesn’t hide the tragedy that unfolds in the background but makes it sharp and bittersweet. In a way it feels like a missive from the future. Ominous, but also a story of resilience and hope. A necessary read for our present.
