A Christmas Caroline - Camilla Isley

I received an advance review copy for free thanks to Rachel's Random Resources and I am leaving this review voluntarily

Caroline is a cynic career woman living the high life in Manhattan where love and relationships are but a distant memory of the past.

But after a freak accident on Christmas Eve, Caroline receives a visit from a cheeky spirit of Christmas Past, Present, Yet to Come, and—most importantly—Christmas That Could Have Been. When she wakes up on Christmas Day suddenly married with three kids and living two doors down from her parents in New Jersey, Caroline has a chance to experience the life she would’ve had if she’d made a different choice.

This is a modern day twist on the classic A Christmas Carol - it has been done really well. This is the second book in the Christmas Romantic Comedy series but as they are stand-alone books could very easily be read as a standalone. I flew through the majority of this book in my lunch break as I just couldn't get enough.

It is just a delightful and sweet book that I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone that is a fan of either Camilla's or A Christmas Carol. In places I forgot that this was a re-telling as it is a good book in its own right.
