Rilla of Ingleside by L.M. Montgomery
2.0
What made the Anne series so enjoyable was that Anne was a very three-dimensional character. She had spunk, she was stubborn, she was whimsical, she knew how to love and she knew what loss was. Rilla is not a three-dimensional character, or at least not to the same extent that her mother was.
