All I Want for Christmas by Maggie Knox

3.0

This was a very quick and easy read. With that in mind, it was very surface level. I didn’t really feel the chemistry between Sadie and Max. We didn’t really get to see them fall in love, we more so we’re just told that feelings existed. This book also hinged on the refusal to communicate trope. I would say miscommunication, but Sadie and Max just refused to either talk about literally anything or refused to listen. They also barely had a chance to fall in love. It felt like every time they started to get in the groove of their relationship, something that could be very easy to get through, just threw the relationship off the rails. It has a good plot line, I just think it needs more development to really be more well rounded.
