Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami

... wow. Just incredible. I understand now why this is a cult classic, and I’m almost ashamed to only have been introduced to it now.

I cannot even begin to put into words the feelings I have about this book. It’s tragic, and beautiful, profound, and nostalgic. It pulls at your heart from all directions; you feel immense pain, immense love, immense desire and melancholy all in one beautifully written book.

The first 1/4 of the book was initially a little disappointing and I found myself wondering why this was such a celebrated book. But then it took a turn, and I never looked back again.

Ps: quite erotic at times lol
