28 Days: A Novel of Resistance in the Warsaw Ghetto by David Safier

challenging emotional hopeful inspiring reflective sad tense

3.5

I liked this book, especially the first part, but I think the second half could have been much better. I say this because the characters in the first part of the book seemed more developed than those in the second half, in addition to the relationships between them. But I understand that the central point of the book was not so much the characters, but what happened to the characters in this horrible situation (I cried in certain parts because of the despicable things people did to the Jews, it broke my heart).

I recommend it if they are people who are guided more by the plot than by the characters, although you end up falling in love with them.
