Music for Tigers by Michelle Kadarusman

5.0

Loved loved loved!
I loved the Australian setting, the animal activism, the characters, the important topics (autism, anxiety, animal welfare, climate change, land appropriation), the story!

This was just such a great story from start to finish, and I was gripped by the mystery of it all.

I loved learning about the animals and plants of this place, and I really enjoyed all the historical aspects added throughout. It felt very much like a true story, and there were many elements based in history & true events!

Perfect for grades 4-7
(The ghost story about convicts dying on an island may be a bit scary for younger, sensitive readers)
