I stumbled upon this book by chance—and what a great chance that was!!!!! I didn’t know anything about the author or her books, but I was intrigued by the story… and lo and behold! It had Pride and Prejudice vibes!!! My favorite book! My favorite movie!! Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth!!!! Oh my God, I was over the moon!!! Wow!!!! I’d watch that movie a thousand times and still want to watch it again.

Back to Edward and Daisy…
He’s a renowned surgeon from an affluent and very rich British family, while she’s the daughter of the help, down on her luck. She used to date his younger brother, who broke her heart and made her feel unworthy of their family. She now has a crappy job she hates and is the embodiment of chaos—literally.

Then came Edward…
He was always there, but she never thought he’d come down from his high horse to be with someone like her. And then they get together—and as you can expect, it was hot, hot, hot. Think Pretty Woman meets Pride and Prejudice! Together, they’re the perfect couple, but life interferes—and so do their social differences. They are complete opposites. Will they be able to conquer it all?

This is one of the best stories I’ve read—and I mostly read dark romance! But this? This was something else!!
Recommended. Loved the book. I’ll definitely be reading more by this author!!! 10 stars!!!
