Ivy, our protagonist, instantly stole my heart with her relatable blend of anxiety, overthinking, and fear of being a burden to others. As someone who shares similar struggles, I found myself deeply connected to her character, rooting for her every step of the way.

The setting of a lodge in the woods added an extra layer of charm to the story, enveloping me in its cozy atmosphere and transporting me into Ivy's world. I could practically feel the warmth of the fireplace and hear the rustle of leaves outside as I immersed myself in the narrative. And let's not forget about the cover—it's absolutely stunning and immediately drew me in, promising a tale of love and adventure within its pages.

While the romance in this book may be on the lighter side in terms of spice, the amount of swooning and pining more than makes up for it. Every interaction between Ivy and her love interests had me sighing with delight, eagerly anticipating their next encounter. It's the kind of romance that leaves you with a warm, fuzzy feeling long after you've turned the last page.
