I went into this with no real expectations because while most people I know liked it, I also knew of some who were disappointed by the story, so I wasn't really sure where I'd fall on the spectrum. Luckily, I ended up really enjoying the book! It wasn't quite as good as "The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo" (which I should really re-read sometime this year), but I was pleasantly surprised by it nonetheless.
