I have not read much Colleen Hoover but I found the beginning of the story kinda cringey & typical of what the stereotype of a Colleen Hoover book is but the first time it happens this story transforms it is so raw and emotional & bittersweet. I think it portrays such complicated emotions so well & I think it's such an important story to tell.
