The Dictionary Story by Sam Winston
4.0

If there are books labeled as 'all age', I think this book is the most 'all age' of all. This book cleverly presents a good graphical story for younger readers, and older readers can enjoy the dictionary.

I love the way this dictionary defines words. My favorite is:

'born /bÉ”:n/'. To be born is to start life and start existing in the world. Before something exists, it's called non-existent. Once it's born, it hangs around for a while and then goes away again. The bit in the middle is called life and the bits outside have been called all sorts of things. (See afterlife, heaven, mystery, underworld.)

This definition makes me at ease because it says that life is a 'bit'. Life is sometimes painful and hard, but the pain is temporary. So, I think that, because I'm still alive, there's nothing I can do except live as good as possible.
