Becoming a Supple Leopard: The Ultimate Guide to Resolving Pain, Preventing Injury, and Optimizing Athletic Performance by Glen Cordoza, Kelly Starrett

5.0

I cannot say enough about this book. My acupuncturist recommended it to me and I have been referring to it for several years. I just completed a cover to cover reading to go through everything and wish I had done so as soon as I bought it. There is so much good information and the diagrams are extremely informative. Dr. Starrett goes through all of the theory (bracing, one joint rule, torque, etc.) and then illustrates the body archetypes that most movements can be broken into. The next section demonstrates many exercises (by increasing demands) before getting into the mobilization techniques. He includes many diagnostic tools along the way so that the user can assess target areas and then refer to the other sections of the book to attack any problem areas. The book is very user friendly and is an invaluable resource.
