4.5 stars This is a book I read in almost one sitting. I was drawn into Amanda's story from page one. I can't say I can relate to Amanda's story. Although there was one scene in 3rd grade that reminded me of a similar situation in my life. Amanda's need to be who she is regardless of the cost. Many people may say they don't know a transgendered person. I would argue that you might know more than you realize.
